Do you know that Kemptville Ontario is holding a PIRATE DAY this Saturday September 17th. We are participating by having a pirate day event of our own. Visit the store and see our bone-y visitor, he'll greet you in the front window and set the stage for the day's happenings. Practice your pirate vocabulary and get a discount on your purchase. Donna is holding a bronze clay class as well and you'll be able to observe the making of a bronze doubloon and a scary skull pendant. Our first CLAY PLAY DAY

Join us this coming Sunday June 19th for our first CLAY PLAY DAY. We will be playing with SILVER clay this time .
Bring your clay and your own tools.
This is for artists with some clay experience. No instruction is provided. This is an opportunity to get that project done with encouragement and exchange of ideas from others.
The cost to participate is $10. Call the store to reserve your seat.

CLAY PLAY DAYS

We are planning a new event at the store.
We will be having a monthly Play with Clay Day on Sundays.
It is an opportunity for you to work on your metal clay projects within a group setting.
There will be NO Instruction provided but lots of encouragement and the ability to fire your finished pieces is included . The cost to participate covers the firing costs. BRING YOUR OWN TOOLS
Price for firing will vary depending on the type of clay we will play with that day. All clays to be fired here must be purchased here.

COPPER and BRONZE clays $15
POLYMER clay baking is $2.

The new library across the street will have it's grand opening this Saturday. Come into the store and join us for a demo project. We will be making teeny amulet books with metal covers to celebrate the event. These tiny books can be hung from a chain or a key ring or just displayed on a shelf. If you have an old book that you'd like to disassemble and use as your inner pages please do so. This will be ongoing during the day so you don't need to reserve a seat but it will help if you let us know you will be joining us .

those of you who weren't able to come learn copper etching missed a great day. we had such fun creating our own distinctive copper /nickel/brass pieces. what a great technique this is.
